Family Ice Fishing Program

Presenter: Andy Fedor, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission We are fortunate to have so many beautiful water resources accessible in all seasons in northeastern Pennsylvania. Do you want to learn more about fishing on the ice in the chilly winter temperatures? This program provides information and instruction on Pennsylvania fishes, basic ice fishing skills, regulations and ice safety. Weather permitting, participants will also get the opportunity to put their new fishing skills to use out on Lake Wallenpaupack. The program is free and fishing licenses are not required. Equipment and bait will be provided. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Part of this program will be conducted inside, but parents need to ensure that they and their children are dressed appropriately for the outdoor portion of the program. Registration is required.
