The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC), located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, is a special place for school groups, families, scouts, and everyone else interested in learning about the natural world in a beautiful and informal setting. PEEC offers environmental education, teambuilding, peer leadership, and recreation programs for over 20,000 people each year. Depending on the season, program participants may canoe on PEEC's ponds, enjoy interpretive hikes, learn about the wildlife surrounding PEEC or cross-country ski through old logging roads. Visitors can also enjoy 13-miles of hiking trails that are free and open to the public. Day, overnight, and weekend programs are available year-round.

Little Mud Pond

Sensory Trail
This short, quarter-mile trail is intended to increase your sensory awareness. A rope guides blindfolded users around a short loop trail. Blindfolds can be picked up at the main office. This trail is located along PEEC's campus road just past the entrance to the Tumbling Waters and Fossil Trails.
