In the northern reaches of Pike County in Lackawaxen
Township, there are two terrific trails in State Game Land #316. Both are accessed
off the Honesdale-Mast Hope Plank Road, taking Welcome Lake Road off Rt. 590
past Woodloch Pines Resort and the Forest Lake Club to a right turn…The first trail
goes to and around Cobey Pond(about 2 miles), and is reached from 3 parking areas
on the woodland road off Honesdale-Mast Hope. The second parking area on the
right is best.
