Five Mile Meadow Road Trail

At the western end of the Dingmans Ferry Area on Silver Lake Road (about 10 miles from the intersection with Route 739) is the Edgemere Forest Headquarters. Just beyond it is a parking area for this road trail which runs (yes, it is about 5 miles) back up to Route 739 in the Lords Valley area, just east of McConnell Pond (across from Laurel Ridge Restaurant). Across Route 739 is a gate and small parking area for Birchy Trail which heads into State Game Lands #180 and the trails around Shohola Lake (covered later under Shohola Area Trails).
