A short way further on Cummins Hill Road from Lost Camp on the left is the Stairway Lake Trail parking lot. Follow the trail leading into the woods to Slateston Road (may be unmarked) and bear left to Stairway, a deep-woods dammed lake. Note the vista nearby.
